When young actresses and actors delve into A Doll’s House, a play by Ibsen written in 1879, questions come thick and fast. How could Nora accept her fate and abandon her children? Why this sacrifice? All this fuss over a forged signature! How to free Nora today? Do we still need to see her subordinate again, a position we know by heart?
