Yes, on two counts, because of their enrolment at the PSPBB and the Sorbonne Nouvelle University.
The PSPBB is a public higher arts education establishment for post-baccalaureate students. You can get in touch with the initial teaching structures: music school, municipal music conservatoire, departmental or regional conservatoire.
The DNSPM and DE music are diplomas awarded by the Ministry of Culture and do not confer the degree of bachelor (licence). The DNSPM is also compulsorily attached to the university’s musicology degree. A procedure is underway to enable the DNSPM to confer the degree of bachelor (licence) from 2025.
Yes, you can apply for an exemption when you apply for the entrance exam

Yes, you can apply for an exemption when you apply for the entrance exam
This is not systematic. The jury decides on the entry level during the entrance exam, followed by a request for validation of prior learning at the start of the academic year.
No, there is no exceptional possibility of joining the PSPBB without taking the entrance exam.
The PSPBB is a higher education establishment in the field of live performance, under the authority of the Ministry of Culture. We recruit by competitive examination, not through Parcoursup. These registrations are made in the last quarter of the year preceding the entrance exam, which does not correspond to the Parcoursup timetable. The PSPBB simply partners with universities to award a bachelor’s degree as part of a special programme offered to graduates of the PSPBB’s entrance examinations.
(except for candidates applying for entry to the DSNPM Jazz or MAA with the Gustave Eiffel University, but this is on an experimental basis)
The PSPBB does not organise open days, but a Festival bringing together the three departments in the first term is an opportunity to see the music, dance and drama students and their creative work on stage.
