A promising first edition
Les Rencontres à cordes is an exceptional initiative: a week-long string orchestra session for students in higher education.

Under the artistic direction of Xavier Gagnepain, this first edition brings together talented students from eight establishments: the PSPBB, the IESM Aix en Provence, the PESMD de Bordeaux, the ESM Bourgogne Franche-Comté (Dijon), the ESMD des Hauts de France (Lille), the Pôle Aliénor (Poitiers), the HEAR (Strasbourg), and the CRR de Boulogne-Billancourt. 

Two feedback concerts
This week of encounters will give rise to two feedback concerts, one of which will be held in the prestigious setting of the Cité de l'architecture:

• Thursday 19 December in the exhibition areas of the Cité de l'architecture
• Friday 20 December in the auditorium of the CRR in Boulogne-Billancourt

A unifying and ambitious project
Designed to promote artistic excellence and encourage exchanges between institutions on a national and international scale, this project is already generating a great deal of enthusiasm from students, partner institutions and the general public.
