The “Direction” track relies on the teaching teams of the two regional conservatoires in Paris and Boulogne-Billancourt for artistic teaching and those of Sorbonne University for theoretical teaching.
The DNSPM part is centred on the specialisation through application sessions with an orchestra in attendance, to which are added disciplines linked to knowledge of the professional environment (workshops, internships). These classes are supplemented by disciplines that are essential for developing the qualities needed by orchestral or choral conductors, such as high-level individual instrumental or vocal practice, participation in a choir and piano practice.
The PSPBB’s partners include the Sorbonne University Choir and Orchestra (COSU) and the Philharmonie de Paris.
